A few updates on Steven Spielberg’s next film, formerly known as “The Dish.”
The film has apparently been retitled as “Disclosure.” Hopefully, it won’t be mistaken for the 1994 film of the same name starring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore. That was an erotic thriller, and Spielberg’s film seems to be the total opposite of that.
Shooting on “Disclosure” is set to begin in New Jersey on February 28. The cast is composed of Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo and Wyatt Russell. Janusz Kamiński is the DP. No word yet on whether Spielber regular John Williams will be composing the score.
No plot details at this time, but the story, written by David Koepp, is said to be a “two-hander” with a UFO storyline. We probably won’t be getting any additional details on this one as things seem to be pretty hush hush on the project. The film is set to release on May 15, 2026 via Universal.

The FBI has uncovered 2,400 new records about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination following President Trump’s order to release the secret files, according to reports.
Those documents contain about 14,000 pages worth of material that a disclosure board was supposed to review but never saw, Axios reported Monday.
The White House learned about the never-before-reviewed documents on Friday as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence presented its plan to disclose the remaining documents.
This is huge. It shows the FBI is taking this seriously,” said Jefferson Morley, the vice president of the Mary Ferrell Foundation, which has the largest online record of JFK assassination records.
“The FBI is finally saying, ‘Let’s respond to the president’s order,’ instead of keeping the secrecy going,” he added.
Exactly what is in the newly discovered documents remains secret at least for now.
Trump ordered the release of all files from Kennedy’s 1963 assassination — which has been mired in decades-long conspiracy theories.
But experts have cautioned that the final release of documents is unlikely to reveal whether the official story – that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing Kennedy – is true, or that conspiracy theories suggesting he was aided by shadowy government or criminal entities have any merit.
“Everything will be revealed,” Trump said on Jan. 23 while signing the latest release order, which also requested all records related to Robert F. Kennedy and the Martin Luther King Jr. assassinations be released.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – who has been nominated as Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services – believes both his father’s and uncle’s murders were part of greater conspiracies.
All documents are expected to be released by March 9, according to Trump’s order.

US President Donald Trump has said the two million Palestinians who would be resettled in neighbouring countries under his plan to take over and rebuild the Gaza Strip would have no right of return.

A clip of the interview was released a day after Trump said he was “committed to buying and owning Gaza”, despite global condemnation of the plan he unveiled last week.
The Palestinian Authority and the armed group Hamas, whose 16-month war with Israel has caused widespread devastation in Gaza, reiterated that Palestinian land was “not for sale”.
But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Trump’s proposal as “revolutionary and creative”.
The UN has warned that any forced displacement of civilians from occupied territory is strictly prohibited under international law and “tantamount to ethnic cleansing”.
It comes three weeks into a fragile ceasefire in Gaza, during which Hamas has released some of the Israeli hostages it is holding in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross-border attack on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage.
More than 48,200 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory’s Hamas-run health ministry.
Most of Gaza’s population has also been displaced multiple times, almost 70% of buildings are estimated to be damaged or destroyed, the healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed, and there are shortages of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.
