He pointed out Clinton destroyed evidence in 2016 after being subpoenaed by Congress in relation to her private email server.
Trump told the media, “Everybody said, ‘lock her up, lock her up,’ and I used to go ‘easy, easy,’ then we won and I said, ‘wouldn’t it be terrible,’ and some people were upset when I did this. But, you have to look at it maybe differently now. I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be terrible to put the wife of the president, former president of the United States into a prison?”
The remark signals a change in tone from Trump who previously avoided prosecuting his political rivals, even if they had blatantly committed offenses.
Perhaps the Democrat plot to abuse the judicial system for their benefit will end up backfiring if Trump retakes the White House.
