Audio recordings from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department confirm Joe Biden had some kind of medical emergency days before dropping out of the 2024 presidential race.
The audio recordings of the LVMPD’s protective detail for Biden obtained by the the Heritage Oversight Project through FOIA reveal law enforcement engaging in an emergency response operation to clear a route for Biden to reach the University Medical hospital on July 17.

The recordings spanning a timeframe of a few hours show LVMPD responding to a Code 3, meaning in an emergency response posture, and coordinating units to shut down traffic and secure routes for Biden to get to the hospital.

At one point, the protective detail mentioned Biden was a Code 421, which is a sick or injured person, according to LVMPD’s code sheet.
“For everyone on the radio, right now POTUS is 421. He’s being seen, so we’re just kinda waiting to see how this is shaping out. So, for everybody’s knowledge, he’s 421 right now; we’re just trying to figure out what’s going on and we’re gonna go from there.”
But instead of going to the hospital, the plans suddenly changed and Biden was diverted to the airport and quickly flown back to Delaware on Air Force One.
The official story from the White House of the incident was that Biden cancelled an event in Las Vegas because he had tested positive for COVID-19, and traveled back to Delaware to “self-isolate and recuperate.”
Biden officially dropped out of the race 4 days later and endorsed Kamala Harris to be the Democrat nominee.
