Update: Musk laid out some terms following his acceptance of the challenge made by Maduro.
If I win, he resigns as dictator of Venezuela.
If he wins, I give him a free ride to Mars.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 31, 2024
He also commented on the similarities between the potential Maduro fight and his previous offer to fight Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Maduro is a big guy himself and probably knows how to fight, so this would be a real fight.

Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro challenged tech entrepreneur Elon Musk to a televised fight after the Tesla CEO asserted he obtained his recent questionable electoral victory through fraud.
The challenge unfolded Monday after Musk called on Maduro to step down, arguing he manipulated votes and committed “major election fraud” to stay in power and that the Venezuelan people had spoken.
Maduro responded by calling Musk his “archenemy,” before throwing down the gauntlet.

“Social media creates a virtual reality, and who controls the virtual reality? Our new archenemy, the famous Elon Musk,” Maduro said, adding, “Do you want to fight? Let’s do it. Elon Musk, I’m ready.”
Musk, who on Monday celebrated protesters tearing down statue of former Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, responded via X, “El burro sabe mas que Maduro,” meaning a jackass is smarter than Maduro. He then apologized that the comparison insulted the animal kingdom.
On Wednesday, Musk went on to accept the challenge.

The potential brawl between power brokers comes as the results of the election have been contested by the Venezuelan people, with many taking to the streets after vote tallies purportedly showed Maduro claimed victory despite losing the election.
