Huckabee Sanders on Bannon Predicting GOP Civil War: He Likes to Speak in ‘Extreme Measures’
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders faced an overwhelming number of questions on Monday over the groundbreaking remarks Steve Bannon made during his interview for 60 Minutes . Numerous parts of Bannon’s interview have sparked media interest, including the segment where the former White House chief strategist said President Trump ‘s approach for ending DACA could lead to a civil war in the Republican Party. As Sanders took questions about Bannon’s remarks on immigration, she was eventually asked about whether Bannon was wrong about his projections for inner-GOP turmoil. “I think Steve always likes to speak in kind of the most extreme measures,” Sanders said. “I’m not sure that I agree with that.” Sanders also faced questions about Bannon’s slams against the GOP leadership , as well as his comments about how James Comey ‘s firing was the biggest mistake in “modern political history.” Watch above, via CNN.
