So, a couple weeks back, Breitbart had an article concerning a growing number of 'young British girls' who were being abducted and sold into the sex trade.
A thought had crossed my mind in regards to a possible motive:
The news reported that the attack in Manchester was at a concert venue in which some 20,000 people could attend, while they weren't near maximum capacity, it was certainly high enough attendance (it was reported at roughly 15,000) that if the goal was to kill the most people, a shrapnel bomb like the one that was used wouldn't be the weapon of choice. While that bomb would unfortunately still cause casualties, it would more so be used to create fear and panic, causing the thousands of attendees (predominantly young preteen and teen girls) to flee to the nearest exits seeking safety.
With these kinds of numbers fleeing in hysteria, it would be incredibly difficult to account for all attendees. Between local establishments opening doors to these young girls and the large number of taxis (many are often unregistered) reportedly arriving at the scene, there are a seemingly large number of opportunities for abduction to occur.
I hope this is not the case, but at this point in society it doesn't seem too far fetched.
