Did you ever hear the tragedy of Stephen Colbert "the angry"? I thought not. It's not a story Jon Stewart would tell you. It's a Comedy Central legend. Stephen Colbert was a late-night comedian, so witty and so funny he could use comedy to influence the body to create laughter... He had such a knowledge of comedy that he could even keep the ones he cared about from misery. The dark side of late-night comedy is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be smug. He became so angry... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his humor, which eventually, of course, he did. Ironic. He could save others from misery, but not himself.
