Are there any decent alternatives to Reddit? Reddit has changed drastically in the past several months and I think it's obvious to most people. Hell, this is the only place I can even ask this question without it being downvoted to oblivion.

Obviously as we all know, Reddit has changed drastically in the past several months and isn't the same open information sharing site we all grew to love. Now, it's full of bots, paid users, and censorship. I miss being able to actually get my news from Reddit without having to be skeptical if it's fake, anti-Trump driven, or straight up clickbait. I miss being able to have well thought out political discussions with the users without having paid shills come to downvote my comments to the point of it not being visible.

I guess my point is, Reddit just simply isn't the same anymore. The only real subreddit anymore is this one, as well as smaller subreddits like band related subreddits and gaming subreddits.

Is there a good alternative to Reddit that's growing in userbase? I tried giving Reddit a second chance, thinking that after the election that Reddit would go back to how it was, but they've only doubled down since then. I'll obviously stay for this Subreddit, but I need an actual good source for REAL news and current events that doesn't involve paid comments and censorship. This isn't even specific to the "anti-Trump" paid shills either, there's paid shills for everything now. This place has become 2009 MySpace.
