Police nab third suspect in chicken joint beatdown

Police have arrested a third suspect accused of beating a disabled man who offered to help pay for their meal at a Brooklyn restaurant.

Darrick Moore, 53, was charged robbery, grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a disabled person for his part in the March 1 attack at Texas Chicken and Burgers on Ocean Avenue in Flatbush.

The beatdown happened when John Molohon, 37, offered to cover the cost of a meal for two of the suspects who appeared short on cash.

Molohon, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and is HIV positive, was then punched and kicked by the men, who also bludgeoned him with his own cane.

Two more men ran inside the restaurant and jumped into the melee before a fifth man entered the eatery and emptied the victim’s front pockets before taking off, according to police.

Police had previously arrested two other suspects, identified as Kariem Roberts and Keshan John, both 21. He was charged with robbery, gang assault and menacing.
