VALLEY STREAM - Two masked men used a hammer to smash into a display case at a Zales yesterday and steal jewelry.

The incident happened at the Green Acres Mall.

Police say the suspects had a getaway car waiting outside.

Several people were in the store at the time but no one was hurt.
